Finally Hear Co. Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and secured by Finally Hear Co. (“Company” or “we” or “us”) when you (“you”, “your”, “user”) access the Company website at https://finallyhearohio.com/ (the “Site”). If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Site.

We reserve the right to change the provisions of this Policy at any time. We will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on the Policy the date it was updated. We encourage you to review this Policy from time to time to make sure that you understand how any personal information you provide will be used. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

What Is Personal Information?

As used herein, the term “personal information” means information that specifically identifies an individual (such as a name, address, telephone number, mobile number, e-mail address, date of birth, credit card number, social security number), or information about that individual that is directly linked to personal information. Personal information does not include “aggregate information”, which is data we may collect about the use of the Site or about a group or category of users, from which individual identities or other personal information has been removed. This Policy in no way restricts or limits our collection and use of aggregate information.

How Do We Collect Information, and What Types of Information Do We Collect?

We collect personal information about you when you voluntarily provide it through the Site, including when you request or schedule a free hearing evaluation or otherwise contact Finally Hear.

Active Collection

We collect certain information when you voluntarily provide it, such as when you submit the Site’s free hearing-test appointment form or otherwise request information from us. The appointment form may request your first name, last name, phone number, email address, preferred office, primary hearing concern and/or how you heard about Finally Hear, as well as optional notes. This information is used to respond to your request and to contact you regarding your appointment. The Site states that information submitted through its appointment form is private and is not sold.

The Site also allows you to select between Finally Hear’s Canton and Akron offices when requesting an appointment.

Passive Collection

When you use the Site, certain information may be collected automatically through website technologies and related services. This may include information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, device information, referring website, pages viewed, interactions with the Site, and other website activity. This information may be used to operate and improve the Site, understand visitor behavior, measure marketing performance, and evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising.

We use cookies, tracking pixels, capture code, and similar technologies to collect information about activity on the Site. These technologies may be used for analytics, conversion tracking, advertising measurement, and retargeting purposes. Retargeting technology may allow us or our advertising service providers to display advertisements related to Finally Hear after you have visited our Site or interacted with our digital advertising. Information collected through these technologies may include website visits, page views, interactions, device or browser information, and other online activity.

We may also use capture technology to help identify and measure actions taken by visitors after interacting with our advertising or website. Information collected through capture code and tracking technologies is used to evaluate campaign performance, understand how visitors interact with the Site, improve our marketing efforts, and provide more relevant advertising.

In connection with certain communications or interactions, we may also use artificial intelligence-assisted transcription technology to create or assist with transcripts and documentation. The AI transcription technology used by Company is designed to comply with applicable requirements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). Information processed through this technology is handled using safeguards intended to protect the privacy and security of information that may be considered protected health information (“PHI”), when applicable.

We may work with third-party service providers, including advertising, analytics, website technology, and transcription providers, to support these functions. Such providers may process information on our behalf for purposes including website operation, analytics, campaign measurement, retargeting, conversion tracking, and transcription services. Where required, appropriate contractual and privacy safeguards are used in connection with the handling of sensitive or protected information.

How Do We Use the Personal Information We Collect?

We use personal information collected through the Site to respond to appointment requests and inquiries, contact users to confirm requested appointment times, communicate about hearing evaluations and Finally Hear services, and provide information requested by users. The Site indicates that, after an appointment request is submitted, Finally Hear will generally call to confirm the appointment, usually within one business day.

If you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you may contact Finally Hear using the telephone numbers or office contact information listed in the “Questions?” section below.

The Site states that information submitted through the appointment form is “100% private & never sold.” Personal information, including information that may be protected under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”), is not sold or made available to third parties for their independent marketing or promotional purposes. Any information shared with authorized service providers is limited to what is necessary to support the Company’s operations and services and is handled in accordance with applicable privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements.

What Personal Information Do We Share With Third Parties?

We will not sell, rent, or share personal information collected through the Site with third parties for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. Personal information submitted through the Site is accessible only to authorized Finally Hear office staff for the purpose of responding to inquiries, scheduling appointments, providing requested services, and supporting patient care.

The Site may utilize website analytics, capture code, conversion tracking, and retargeting pixel technologies for advertising measurement and marketing purposes; however, personal information submitted by users through the Site is not provided to or accessible by these advertising or marketing providers.

We may also use HIPAA-compliant artificial intelligence-assisted transcription technology to support certain communications and documentation. This technology is used in a manner designed to maintain the privacy and security of patient information and comply with applicable HIPAA requirements.

Personal information may otherwise be disclosed only when required or permitted by law.

Aggregate Information

We may take your personal information and make it non-personally identifiable, either by combining it with information about other individuals (aggregating your information with information about other individuals), or by removing characteristics (such as your name) that make the information personally identifiable to you (i.e., de-personalizing your information).

This can include usage information and/or information that is not connected to personal information. Given the nature of this information, no restrictions apply under this Privacy Policy on our right to aggregate or de-personalize your personal information, and we may use and share the resulting non-personally identifiable information as permitted by law.

Purchase or Sale of Businesses

From time to time, we may purchase a business or sell one or more of our businesses and your personal information may be transferred as a part of the purchase or sale. If we purchase a business, the personal information received with that business would be treated in accordance with this Policy, if it is practicable and permissible to do so.

If we sell a business, we will include provisions in the selling contract requiring the purchaser to treat your personal information in the same manner required by this Policy, including any amendments to this Privacy Policy. The provisions of this paragraph will also apply if we are sold as part of bankruptcy proceedings.

Disclosures Required By Law and Disclosures to Help Protect the Security and Safety of Our Website and Others

We will disclose personal information when we believe in good faith that such disclosures (a) are required by law, including, for example, to comply with a court order or subpoena, or (b) will help to enforce our policies, protect your safety or security, protect property, or protect the safety and security of our Site or third parties.

If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.

What Steps Do We Take To Protect Your Information?

The Site states that appointment-form information is private and is not sold.

We take measures designed to protect personal information in an effort to prevent loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or other misuse.
